- Medical expenses & hospitalization due to emergency (with COVID19 coverage): Coverage amount up to €10,000.
- Transport or repatriation in case of illness or accident: This includes necessary arrangements for transferring the insured to an equipped medical center based on the insurance medical team’s opinion and repatriation to the country of origin if there is no equipped medical center in the destination country. The coverage amount is for actual expenses.
- Emergency dental care: Coverage for emergency dental care is limited to treatment of pain, infection, and removal of the affected tooth, with a deductible of €200.
- Repatriation of mortal remains: Coverage for the repatriation of mortal remains is provided with actual expenses.
- Legal Assistance: Coverage for legal assistance is provided up to €250.
- Repatriation of family member of the insured: If the insured is hospitalized, this coverage includes the repatriation of a family member from the country of origin to the destination country. The coverage amount is for actual expenses.
- Loss of passport, driving license, national identity card abroad: Coverage amount up to €200.
- Return of child(ren) left unattended under supervision of an adult person: Coverage for this situation is provided with actual expenses.
- Emergency return home following death or serious illness of a close family member: To use this coverage, the insurance medical team’s opinion is required, and the coverage amount is for actual expenses.
- Relay of urgent messages and medical information and advice: Coverage for this service is provided with actual expenses.
It’s important to note that in case of a medical emergency or the need for any covered services, the insured or one of their companions should contact the “Assistance Provider” and provide the necessary information, including the insured’s name, policy number, contact details, a brief description of the problem, and the type of assistance required. If the insured is unable to contact or get services from the assistance provider, they should collect all relevant documents and present them to the head office of Saman Insurance Company in Tehran, Iran, for further verification.
