From Palaces to Palm Groves

Day 1: Tehran Exploration Morning: Arrival and Welcome Upon your arrival, our Iranian ground colleagues will warmly welcome you at the gate, holding a sign with your name. After the welcome, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

Afternoon: Tehran Highlights Explore some of Tehran’s spectacular sites with a local guide. Visit Golestan Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, showcasing gardens, royal buildings, and museums. Explore the Archeological section of the National Museum and the Crown Jewel museum, boasting a dazzling collection of gemstones and jewelry. Enjoy some free time in the evening to wander the streets of old Tehran or explore the bazaars.

Day 2: Mesr Desert Adventure Morning: Departure to Mesr Embark on a journey to Khor and Biabanak County to experience the breathtaking Mesr Desert. Marvel at the endless chains of dunes that create a picturesque landscape and enjoy the unique silence of the desert.

Evening: Mesr Village and Starry Night Drive to Mesr village in the evening to witness the starry sky. Overnight in a local house in Mesr. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Mesr Desert Activities Morning: Traditional Breakfast and Activities After a traditional buffet breakfast, engage in activities such as sand sliding and camel riding.

Afternoon: Sand Lake and Sunset Visit the Sand Lake in the afternoon and enjoy the sunset around a fire while sipping hot tea. Return to the Mesr local house, providing a taste of traditional desert houses and Iranian cuisine.

Day 4: Garmeh Oasis Excursion Morning: Journey to Garmeh Embark on an excursion to Garmeh village, an oasis in the central desert of Iran, known for its beautiful palm groves and a pond surrounded by tall palm trees.

Afternoon: Pomegranate and Palm Gardens Explore the pomegranate and palm gardens, and enjoy a delightful lunch.

Day 5: Return to Tehran Morning: Return to Tehran Drive back to Tehran and be transferred to the airport for departure flight(s).
