On the date of May/08, the “Bame Shiraz” hiking program took place under the supervision of Ahlam Jarzadeh, with planning by Saeid Zare and 11 active members of the group.
“Bame Sabz Shiraz” is one of the most delightful parks in Shiraz, situated directly opposite Javadiyeh Town. This vast and inviting space provides unparalleled conditions for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers. As you ascend from the park’s entrance, you might find the gentle slope a bit challenging, but don’t be discouraged! The magnificent view of Shiraz city sprawling beneath the majestic mountains will surely make the trek worthwhile. You might wonder why, among all the beautiful gardens and parks in Shiraz, we chose to highlight “Bame Sabz Shiraz” in this tourism magazine. To describe “Bame Sabz Shiraz,” we simply say, “Even in the hot summer air, a refreshing breeze dances through your hair!” If summer feels this way, imagine the beauty of this park in seasons like spring! The elevation of “Bame Sabz Shiraz” from the ground level ensures a spring-like atmosphere even during the warmest seasons. “Bame Sabz Shiraz” spans approximately 1400 hectares, with around 700 hectares currently open to the public. Due to its location opposite Javadiyeh Town, some locals refer to it as “Bame Shiraz Javadiyeh” or “Javadiyeh Shiraz Park.”
Among the amenities of “Bame Shiraz” are the “Bame Sabz Shiraz” restaurant, dedicated hiking trails, cycling paths, hiking routes, restroom facilities, gazebos, and parking lots. As you traverse the main path within the park, you’ll encounter stone sculptures and several gazebos that enhance the beauty of the surroundings. At the end of the trail stands a large cement platform overlooking the entirety of Shiraz.
To access the gazebos, you’ll need to park your vehicle and ascend the park’s slope. Hence, visiting this garden is not recommended for individuals with mobility issues.
