“Joreh Narcissus Field” is the largest natural narcissus field in Iran, with an area of 140 hectares, located near the village of Bala Deh. It was introduced as the “Iranian Narcissus Home” by the Iranian Society of Flowers and Plants in 2016. Every year, more than 30 million branches of narcissus are harvested from this field and exported to other parts of Iran and neighboring countries, including many cities in Iran and Persian Gulf countries. One of the distinguishing features of Joreh and Bala Deh narcissus is its suitable stem thickness, flower scent, and the number of flower buds it produces. The flowering period of this field is about 45 days and usually occurs from early January to mid‑February. The Narcissus Flower Festival is held every year from February 6 to 8 in the field.
